COVID-19 Visitor Guidelines
As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to dominate the headlines, guidance and steps that need to be taken to control the outbreak are changing daily. At Langley Wellington LLP we are taking steps to ensure that we comply with the Government advice and continue to provide the high level of service that our clients require.
We will be complying with the guidance that has been issued by Public Health England, which is regularly updated on the Government website. If, as a result of that guidance, it is necessary to close one or more of our offices, we have contingency plans in place to ensure that we can continue to work effectively and that our clients will remain unaffected as far as possible.
At present, our offices will remain open. We fully appreciate that our clients will want to try and limit their visits as far as is possible and we are wholly supportive of that. We are able to offer you ID checking and source of funds checking electronically, therefore, if this is of interest to you, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
If you do need to come to one of our offices to either see us or deliver physical documents to us, we will contact you 24 hours before your appointment to ask you to confirm, in line with the Government statement on the 12 March, that none of the following apply to you:
- Continuous Cough
- High Temperature
- Loss of sense of taste or smell
- Whether you have recently travelled abroad; and
- Whether you have recently come into contact with someone who has been diagnosed with the virus.
Obviously if any one, or more, of them do relate to you, you should reschedule your appointment, in line with Government recommendations.
If, as part of our contingency plans, we do have to close then fee earners and support staff do have access to secure cloud based technologies which will allow them to continue to work from home. Our document management system, email and digital telephone system are all available remotely.
We still hope that it will not be necessary to ask our staff to work from home but the matter is still so fast moving that we are continually monitoring this.
We are confident that we have done all we can to ensure that work will continue to be done effectively, efficiently and professionally on your behalf. As with all our clients we would ask that you stay well and keep safe.
Sharon, thank you very much for all your hard work on the recent sale and purchase of our properties. It has been a pleasure to work with you and we wanted to take the time to thank you and your team for your time, effort and efficiency. We will only be too happy to recommend you to others in the future.

I have always used John Mellon and was directed to Cotswold Conveyancing Centre further to the merge of Langley Wellington and Brand Mellon. Whilst initially I was unsure of what to expect, I was very impressed with the service I received from Jessica. Prompt, professional and very helpful.
